Newsletter Issue: February '06

From the Newsletter desk - Greetings to all!

It is with hope and prayer that you all are holding your own in health and spirit, had a great Holiday and enjoying life the best you can.

I got motivated enough to start putting this Newsletter together before getting involved with the yearly chores associated with snow and cold time. Punxsutawney (Ground Hog) Phil saw his shadow and predicted 6 more weeks of winter - what else? At present, we've been very fortunate by having a mild winter along the south western shores of Lake Ontario. Ice fisherpersons aren't too happy, but that won't last long. If you are not aware, Lake Ontario never freezes over as Lake Erie because of its water depth, but there is ice fishing in harbors, streams and some bays in winter.

Since the last Newsletter, reunion plans for 2006 in Millville, NJ has been an on-going process. Updating our mailing list from a mailing survey has been completed. The Newsletter desk has received bits of information from some of you -- wish there was more! These items and others follow in this Newsletter.

The change to an Aug reunion date instead of a traditional Sept date was due to conflicts during Sept. and early Oct. It will still be the summer season, so it is suggested that you make your reservations in a timely manner to insure "a room at the Inn".
