ONE ME-109 DESTROYED, ONE ME-109 PROBABLY DESTROYED, AND

THREE ME-109'S DAMAGED.

I)

     I WAS FLYING AS TURMOIL RED FOUR ON MISSION V89-2 ON

24 MARCH 1945. MY LEADER FOUND AN AIRFIELD NORTH OF DORSTEN.

I MADE FOUR STRAFING PASSES ON 109'S AND 190'S. ON MY FIRST

PASS I GOT SCATTERED HITS ON TWO 109'S PARKED VERY CLOSE

TOGETHER. ONE CAUGHT AFIRE. ON MY NEXT PASS I STRAFED SEVERAL

PLANES SITTING IN A ROW, OBSERVING HITS ON TWO 109'S. MY NEXT

TWO PASSES WERE CONCENTRATED ON ANOTHER 109 THAT DID NOT

BURN. ON BOTH PASSES I GOT GOOD STRIKES AND CLAIM IT PROB-

ABLY DESTROYED.

     I CLAIM ONE 109 DESTROYED, ONE 109 PROBABLY DESTROYED,

AND THREE 109'S DAMAGED.
