Reunion Comments:
This year, we aren't having one group dinner (Tues) because many of us like to "dine on the town", or whatever after the tour. The Hospitality Room will be available for fun and games throughout each day and evening as long as there is one of us there. The group dinners cost for Mon. and Wed. night will be $20/person/dinner. The tour cost on Tues. will be $20/person. The dinners and tour will be payable to our treasurer Bill Geise. Reservations and remittance must be made by Sept 5, 2005 to Bill Geise. The group picture info. will be made at Monday night's dinner. Please make your own room reservation with the Hotel. Identify your Hotel room reservation as a 412th Fighter Squadron reservation to receive the group rate. Transportation, etc. As we know, Chicago is one of the transportation hubs of our great USA. Therefore, one shouldn't have much difficulty in using a comfortable mode of transportation to get to Chicago. Chicago has two airports; O'Hare and Midway. Midway is used by several low cost airlines and one of those lines may fly out of your homeport. You will not have courtesy transportation by the Hotel from Midway. Hotel courtesy transportation is only from O'Hare. Just a reminder. Don't hesitate to ask for Airport, etc., assistance in getting transportation to/from your departure gates if you have difficulty in moving about. In your travels, notify the hotel or any reserved facility that you will frequent about your needs in advance. If you are in need of some special medical assistance while at the reunion, please notify Bill Geise or me. We will try to find a source for your care and notify you prior to the reunion. |
