Reunion cont'd ... This year we aren't having one group dinner (Tues.) because many may like to "dine on the town", or wherever after the tour. The Hotel's restaurant can accommodate for dinner. The Hospitality room will be available for fun and games throughout the day and evening. The group dinners costs for Mon. and Wed., night will be $20/person/ dinner. The
tour cost on Tues. will be $20/person.
The dinners and tour will be payable to our treasurer Bill Geise.
Reservation forms
and other info will be included in the next Newsletter to be issued
around June. Tentatively,
reservations must be made by Sept. 1, 2005.
Hopefully the above information will assist
in your 2005 activities planning.
News
and information... We
received the sad news that Fred Bealke is being treated for Alzheimer's.
Colonel Fred did great research and published a report about the
412th-373rd. Fred
was a non-com during the war but continued his service career after the war
and earned the rank of Col.
Our website, www.412th.org, contains experts from his "A report of
the 412th Fighter Squadron Operation during WWII dated 12 July 1988." Moe Richardson had another surgery (back) in the University Hospitals Of Cleveland on Feb 14. We wish him the best and speedy recovery. His comment shortly after the surgery was "We'll see you at the reunion". |
